You will arrive at Museumplein in Amsterdam’s cultural district and enter the museum at your selected time slot. After security and ticket validation, you will begin your visit using the official audio guide. Inside, you will explore the world’s largest collection of artworks by Vincent van Gogh. Your visit begins with his early Dutch period, featuring darker-toned paintings reflecting his early influences and rural themes. As you move through the galleries, you will see how his style changed after moving to France, with brighter colors and more expressive brushwork. This is an audio guide tour. You explore independently with the official museum audio guide. There is no live guide inside the museum.
All visitors to the museum are required to show a valid entrance ticket (we will provide separate tickets).
Visitors with a Child/youth ticket are required to show proof of age at the museum entrance.
You can print out your ticket (we provide it separately), but you don’t have to: you can also present your ticket on a mobile device to check at the museum entrance.
You're welcome to take photos of the paintings as long as you do not use a flash, lamps, a tripod, or a selfie stick.
Once you confirm your attendance, you will receive your tickets at least 1 day in advance of the tour's start.
You skip the line to buy tickets. You must still pass the mandatory security check, which can have a line at busy times.
The museum does not allow changes or refunds for dated tickets. For this reason, all sales for this experience are final. Please check your date and time carefully before booking.
The audio guide is collected inside the museum at the information desk
The audio guide is generally recommended from age 13. Younger children can still enter the museum but may not receive an audio device.
How long can I stay inside? As long as you like until closing time. Most visitors spend around 1.5–2 hours.

Please arrive at the main entrance of the Van Gogh Museum, located at Museumplein 6, 1071 DJ Amsterdam. Show your ticket at the entrance for validation. You will proceed through the standard museum security check before entering the exhibition areas.
