Once at the village of Zermatt we will take a small battery operated taxi car that will take us to the glacier paradise cable car.
Option 1: Then we will climb in a cable car to the very top of the Klein Matterhorn.
Once at the top we will enjoy lunch in a panoramic restaurant with direct views of the Matterhorn.
Then we will enter the Gletcher Palast which is an ice cave located at 3883 meters above sea level.
Then we will continue to the very top of the mountain to have the most stunning views of the alps.
Option 2: Here we get on an amazing Cogwheel Train and climb to the top of the Gornergrat where you have spectacular views of the Matterhorn and the glacier.
The Gornergrat is one of Zermatt’s most breathtaking viewpoints — a dramatic ridge at 3,089 m where the world suddenly opens into a panorama of 29 towering 4,000-meter peaks, including the mighty Matterhorn. You reach the summit on Europe’s highest open-air cogwheel railway, climbing above forests, lakes, and glaciers until you stand face-to-face with the vast, glowing Gorner Glacier. It’s an unforgettable, cinematic alpine experience — pure “wow” from the first turn of the tracks to the final step onto the viewing platform.
Back down at the village of Zermatt we will explore the whole village with the option to view the Matterhorn museum.
