The Chichibu Pilgrimage involves visiting the 34 sacred Kannon temples scattered throughout the Chichibu region. During the Edo period, many people visited the area as a place of worship. This tour includes hiking through the rolling hills. Enjoy the changing seasonal scenery as you make your pilgrimage.
For lunch, we offer shojin ryorii (traditional Buddhist vegetarian lunch) made with local food.
Chichibu Pilgrimage Temple No 19: Ryūseki-ji. Guidance on the Chichibu Pilgrimage Sites will be provided.
From here onward, the pilgrimage routes for Sites 19 to 21 and Sites 22 to 23 involve more uphill climbs.

Chichibu Pilgrimage Temple No 20: Iwanoue-do. The sloping grounds feature abundant plantings that evoke the changing seasons. The hall displays dolls dedicated in prayer for safe childbirth and children's growth.

Chichibu Pilgrimage Temple No 21: Kannon-ji.
After visiting the temple, we offer a vegetarian meal prepared with ingredients from Chichibu for lunch.

Chichibu Pilgrimage Temple No 22: Dōji-dō. The guardian deities at the temple gate were crafted by an amateur with children in mind; though crude, they possess a certain charm.

Chichibu Pilgrimage Temple No 23: Ongaku-ji. Perched atop a hill, this temple offers views overlooking the city. Known for granting wishes related to music, it attracts not only aspiring singers seeking their debut but also established stars praying for hit songs.
