Stop 2

Experience the mystery of the Great Sphinx of Giza through a tour specially designed for photography lovers. Stand before one of the world’s most legendary monuments and learn how to capture its power, scale, and emotion using professional photography techniques. From dramatic angles and close-up details to wide compositions that include the pyramids in the background, every moment is a chance to create striking images.

With hands-on photography guidance, you’ll discover how to use light, shadows, and perspective to bring the Sphinx to life—whether shooting with a camera or a smartphone. During your visit to Saqqara, you’ll explore the birthplace of pyramid building and one of Egypt’s most fascinating archaeological sites.

You’ll stand before the Step Pyramid of King Djoser (built around 2650 BC) — the first pyramid ever constructed and the oldest large stone monument in the world. Designed by the genius architect Imhotep, this pyramid changed architecture forever.

Inside the vast Step Pyramid Complex, you’ll walk through ancient courtyards and ceremonial areas that were once used for royal festivals over 4,600 years ago.

You’ll also visit beautifully decorated Old Kingdom tombs, where colorful wall reliefs and hieroglyphics still show scenes of daily life — farming, fishing, hunting, music, and offerings to the gods. Many of these carvings are more detailed and better preserved than those in other sites.

Stop 4

At Dahshur, you’ll discover some of the oldest and most unique pyramids in Egypt, built over 4,600 years ago during the reign of King Sneferu, the father of Khufu (who later built the Great Pyramid of Giza).

You’ll visit the remarkable Bent Pyramid, famous for its unusual change in angle halfway up. This fascinating design shows the trial-and-error process of early pyramid construction — making it one of the most important pyramids in architectural history. It’s also one of the best-preserved pyramids in Egypt, still retaining much of its original smooth limestone casing.

Next, you’ll see the impressive Red Pyramid, considered the first successful “true” smooth-sided pyramid. It gets its name from the reddish color of its stones, especially beautiful at sunset. Visitors can often enter inside and climb through the narrow passageway into the main burial chamber for an unforgettable experience.
