We walk along the charming Paseo del Rastro, with spectacular views that steal our breath. We arrive at the imposing Basilica of Santa Teresa, a sacred place that excites for its spiritual strength. From there, we enter the Chico Market, vibrant heart of the medieval city. The Cathedral awaits us majestically, fusing art and fortress into a unique temple. We climb the Walls, imposing and proud, guardians of centuries of history. And we culminate in the Basilica of Saint Vincent, a Romanesque jewel where legend and faith embrace each other. Avila envelops you, inspires you and leaves you speechless!
We start at Plaza de Santa Teresa, where we admire the wall and the lively atmosphere of the heart of Ávila. We walk along Paseo del Rastro, with its views over the valley and the Sierra, to the nearby Basilica of Santa Teresa, built on his birthplace. We continue to the Chico Market, former main square and center of civil life. From there, we arrive at the Cathedral, a fortress of faith and stone, a mixture of styles and centuries. We walk through the Walls, symbol of the city, and access its adarves to contemplate Avila from above. We finish in the Basilica of St. Vincent, jewel of the Romanesque, where history and legend are intertwined in each stone.
We meet in the Plaza de Santa Teresa, next to the statue to the Grandeges of Avila, "La Palomilla".
