Aurora 7 invites you to discover the magic of the Northern Lights on this exciting night excursion from Tromsø. You’ll start with a briefing on the weather forecast and magnetic field in the Tromsø Region, plus photo tips.
With your expert guide and chauffeur, you will enter the nature of the Arctic Circle in search of clear skies and thus maximize your chances of observing this natural phenomenon. Then in the place chosen by the guide and driver you will enjoy the warmth of an outdoor fire along with hot drinks and snacks while waiting for the boreal appearance. If the weather does not cooperate, you will be taken to the best places, even crossing to Finland if necessary. Don't forget your camera and passport. Your guide will be there to take professional photos and will also help you with setting up your camera or mobile phone. After 48 hours you can download online the photos taken from your boreal experience.
Your accredited guide will find you at the corner of Scandic Ishavshotel, then give you instructions and information of the tour before starting the hunt for the wonderful Northern Lights.
Your expert guide along with the driver will find the ideal and safe place to observe the Northern Lights. The climate in the Arctic area is very unstable so if necessary and according to the weather conditions we will travel towards the border with Finland in search of the objective of being able to observe the Northern Lights.
During this time and while we wait for the magic moment your guide will tell you Nordic stories enjoying a tea, coffee or hot chocolate. Also and if the conditions and the weather allow it will make a natural campfire in the chosen place. You will live a unique experience and your guide will help you with your camera or phone so those photos will be marked in your life. And remember to bring good humor and energy!
Then we will return to Tromsø with the memory of having experienced and observed the dance of the Northern Lights. Photos of your experience can be downloaded online 48 hours after the tour.
