We will know the origin of the city of Santander, its medieval past, its past as a summer place of the Spanish Royal Family and regionalist architecture.

We'll talk about the fire that swept through the city in 1941.

We can see from the outside the Gothic Cathedral of the s. XII of Santander, and with the possibility of entering the church of the Christ that is at the base of the Cathedral (subject to the schedule of Mass).

We will know the best architectural example of Santander rebuilt after the fire and we will know one of the most important episodes of the Spanish War of Independence

We will enter the oldest supply market in Santander and learn about the history of the neighborhood around it

We will finish our tour looking out over the bay, getting to know the city’s relationship with the sea and talking about one of the greatest landmarks of contemporary architecture and contemporary art, the Centro Botín.
