Detailed itinerary

1

The tour starts from the Margherita Pier, in the heart of Monopoli harbour. Here you will meet the local sailor and crew, who will welcome you on board and introduce you to the experience. Before departure, you can admire the historic harbor, traditional boats and the city's vibrant waterfront.
Once on board, the sailor will explain the itinerary of the day, safety rules and some curiosities on the Apulian Adriatic coast, before setting sail towards Polignano a Mare and its famous sea caves.

2

While sailing along the coast, you will pass Torre Incina, an ancient coastal tower overlooking the Adriatic Sea. The local sailor will briefly tell the story of this defensive structure and its role in controlling the coast in the past. The area is characterized by clear waters and natural cliffs, offering a suggestive glance before continuing towards the coves and caves of Polignano a Mare.

3

While sailing along the coast, you will pass by the Rock of the Hermit, a suggestive rock formation immersed in a particularly clear stretch of sea. The local sailor will tell curiosities and legends related to this place, known for its wild and authentic atmosphere. The area is ideal for admiring the contrast between the high cliffs and the turquoise shades of the sea, offering one of the most characteristic views of the coast.

4

The navigation continues towards Grotta Palazzese, one of the most iconic and photographed places on the coast of Polignano a Mare. You will admire from the water the spectacular natural cave set in the cliff, famous for its emerald sea view and its unique conformation. The local sailor will tell the story and curiosities of this symbolic place, offering a privileged and suggestive perspective accessible only from the sea.

5

The navigation continues to Lama Monachile, the famous beach symbol of Polignano a Mare. From the sea you can admire the unmistakable cove nestled between high limestone cliffs, with the historic bridge overlooking it. This point offers a unique and less crowded perspective than the view from the ground, ideal for taking photographs and enjoying one of the most iconic views of Puglia directly from the water.

6

Sailing along the Polignano a Mare seafront to the statue of Domenico Modugno, famous Italian singer and symbol of the city. From the sea you can admire the statue overlooking the cliff, with your eyes turned to the Adriatic. The local sailor will briefly tell the link between Modugno and Polignano, offering a suggestive and different perspective than the visit from land.

7

The navigation continues towards the inlet of Cala Ponte, a stretch of coast characterized by calm waters and transparent seabed. Here overlooks the historic Tuccino restaurant, known for its link with the local maritime tradition and for its unique location directly on the sea. From the gozzo you can admire this authentic corner of the Monopolitan coast, appreciating the contrast between the natural cliff and one of the symbolic places of Apulian seafood.
