About this experience

Designed to promote the richness of the béarnais heritage – historical, touristic, gastronomic, oenological – (parenthesis) invites residents and visitors to a sensory and poetic experience of the art of living “the open door and the heart with it”.

In Lacommande, a high place of passage for centuries, history is very present: Gaston IV the Crusader, the priory of Sainte-Christine-du-Somport, and the commandery-hospital still welcoming the pilgrims of Saint James.

With (incidentally), live the strange silence of an anechoic chamber unique in Europe, let yourself be touched by the works of our temporary exhibitions, savor the local gastronomy revisited by inspired chefs, photographed by Ginko. Discover also a song from béarnaise emitted by a barrel of Jurançon... The ticket includes a track game, an interactive walk (The Green Bubble), access to the church, cemetery, medieval garden Hortus Miraculum, and tasting at the Wine House.
