Detailed itinerary

1

The tour begins at Bochali Hill, a timeless spot overlooking Zakynthos Town. From this height, the town and harbor open up below, bathed in light and color. Travelers pause here to take photos, feel the island come alive beneath them, and begin the day with a deep sense of place and anticipation for what lies ahead.

2

A scenic stop overlooking the world-famous Navagio Beach. From above, travelers can admire the dramatic limestone cliffs, turquoise waters, and the iconic shipwreck resting on the white beach below.

3

At Porto Vromi, travelers meet the boat crew and receive a short safety briefing before departure. The captain explains the route, swimming rules, and safety procedures. After boarding, the boat departs toward Shipwreck Beach and the Blue Caves, with the exact route adjusted according to weather and sea conditions.

4

Maravelia Cave lies along the western coastline, not far from Shipwreck Beach. Carved by the sea and light, it reveals shifting shades of blue as the boat approaches. When conditions allow, travelers may enter and swim near the cave, experiencing its calm, enclosed atmosphere. Access is always dependent on sea and weather conditions, keeping the experience respectful and safe.

5

The journey continues to the Blue Caves, where sea and stone create shifting shades of blue beneath the surface. The boat moves slowly through the formations, allowing travelers to see the caves up close as light reflects off the water and rock. When conditions permit, there is time to swim and explore the area from the sea, experiencing the clarity of the water and the quiet, immersive atmosphere of this natural landmark.

6

As the boat tour comes to an end, we return to the port and step back onto land. Travelers gather their belongings, board the bus, and take a moment to reset after the sea. The journey continues inland, shifting pace and atmosphere, as the day naturally flows toward a relaxed lunch stop.

7

The pace slows in the mountain village of Anafonitria, where travelers have free time for lunch at a traditional local taverna (own expense). Set away from the coast, this quiet village offers a simple, authentic break—good food, relaxed conversation, and a moment to rest before the journey continues.

8

In the village of Exo Chora, travelers encounter one of Zakynthos’ quiet treasures: an ancient olive tree that has stood here for over two thousand years and still bears fruit today. The stop offers time to pause, reflect, and connect with the island’s deep-rooted history. Visitors also have the chance to taste a selection of local products, including olive oil, olives, wine, liqueurs, and natural beauty items, shared by local producers as part of the village’s living tradition.

9

The final stop is Xigia Beach, a small cove shaped by mineral springs that flow directly into the sea. The water here carries a natural scent of sulfur and offers a refreshing swim in a setting unlike anywhere else on the island. Travelers have time to relax, swim, and enjoy the dramatic contrast between the turquoise water and the surrounding cliffs. From above, the view offers striking photo opportunities before the day gently comes to a close.
