Detailed itinerary

1

Your adventure begins with a morning pickup from your hotel or residence in Bishkek. Relax in a comfortable vehicle as we leave the city buzz behind and head toward the majestic Kyrgyz Ala-Too mountains. Enjoy the nice views of the mountains on the way.

2

Your first major highlight is the thrilling Sky Bridge. Walk across the Sky Bridge, suspended 2,400 meters above sea level for a heart-pounding view of the 90-meter drop into the gorge below.

As you walk across the bridge high above the canyon floor, you will see amazing views that will take your breath away. Here you will have personal time to walk around and take pictures, and your guide will be happy to assist you with capturing the perfect shot. After the bridge, follow your guide on a beautiful trail down to the Pigeon Waterfall, a 25-meter (82-foot) cascade hidden deep inside the rocky cliffs. It gets its name because wild pigeons often nest in the cool, shaded rocks around the water. Your guide will lead you to the best viewpoint where you can feel the refreshing mist and hear the powerful sound of the water crashing down. It is a peaceful, natural escape and one of the best-kept secrets of the Chunkurchak Gorge.

3

We'll take a short 20-minute drive deeper into the mountains to reach the famous Chunkurchak Ski Resort. Here, you will take the panoramic cable car for a scenic ride up the mountain. After reaching the panoramic viewpoint enjoy a 360-degree view of the snow-capped peaks and the wide, green valley below. For those seeking another rush of adrenaline, the resort also features a Zipline. As you zip across the hills, you can feel the crispy alpine air and a surge of adrenaline.

4

We conclude our mountain exploration at the Supara Chunkurchak Ethno-Complex. Unlike any other resort, this place is built from local stone and wood to mirror the ancient nomadic way of life. It’s built right into the cliffs and surrounded by thick pine trees, so you have giant rock walls on one side and pine trees on the other. It is the perfect place for travelers who want an authentic cultural immersion and time out in nature. Indulge in a traditional Kyrgyz lunch at the Supara restaurant. Positioned overlooking the gorge, you can enjoy the Kyrgyz cuisine with the perfect view. After lunch, choose to try your hand at ancient nomadic skills like archery or take a gentle horseback ride through the pine forests. Before we head back, enjoy some free time to truly connect with the mountain land. Free time to explore the area and walk around.

5

After a full day of adventure, culture and fresh alpine air, we will drive you back to Bishkek and drop you off directly at your hotel.
