Detailed itinerary

1

The tour begins with a 9:00 AM pick-up from clients’ accommodation, followed by an hour-long drive to Stellenbosch, South Africa’s second oldest town. Along the way, we pass through Stellenbosch city centre and the University of Stellenbosch before arriving at our first wine tasting stop — Tokara Wine Estate.
At Tokara, guests are greeted by stunning vineyard views and the majestic Simonsberg Mountains. They can explore the sculpture garden and art gallery, where art blends with the Cape’s natural beauty. Visitors may wander the vineyards, learning about grape varieties and estate practices, or relax on the shaded terraces overlooking False Bay and Table Mountain. The visit includes a wine tasting experience featuring Tokara’s award-winning, premium wines, often paired with estate-grown olive oils or seasonal bites. Guides share stories about the estate’s history, winemaking, and the inspiration behind the art, adding depth to the visit. The tour then continues to Delheim Wine Estate.

2

The drive to Delheim Wine Estate, our second stop, takes about 20 minutes through the scenic Stellenbosch countryside. Upon arrival, travellers can enjoy a guided wine tasting, sampling a curated selection of Delheim’s premium wines, with the option to pair their tasting with a leisurely lunch experience. For those craving something hearty, the Garden Restaurant offers delicious, home-style dishes served with stunning vineyard views. Visitors can also take a moment to explore the wine cellar or wander along the tranquil outdoor trails, soaking in the estate’s natural beauty. After the tasting and optional lunch, the journey continues to the final destination — Fairview Wine Estate in the Paarl wine region.

3

After a scenic 20-minute drive, travellers arrive at Fairview Wine and Cheese Estate, where the comforting aroma of freshly baked bread and the sight of artisanal cheeses set the tone for a warm welcome. This charming, family-run estate offers a signature wine and cheese pairing experience, allowing guests to savour a variety of handcrafted wines alongside Fairview’s renowned goat’s and cow’s milk cheeses. The Tasting Room provides a relaxed and inviting atmosphere, while the iconic Goat Tower adds a playful touch to the visit. Visitors can also browse through the farm shop, stocked with local produce and gourmet treats to take home. With its friendly hospitality, beautiful setting, and delightful flavours, Fairview makes for a perfect and memorable finale to a day exploring the Cape Winelands.
