After meeting with the guide, we will first take you to the observation area near Onomichi Station, where you can enjoy the view of the city while learning about the history of Onomichi.
Enjoy a guided walking tour from Onomichi Station to the Senkōji Ropeway station, exploring the town’s picturesque streets. Your guide will share insights into Onomichi’s rich historical and cultural heritage throughout the walk.
Upon arriving at Senkōji Temple by ropeway, you will have time to explore the temple grounds and enjoy the scenic views.
Perched on a hill 140 meters above sea level, the temple offers breathtaking views of the Seto Inland Sea and the charming townscape of Onomichi, including its harbor.
After visiting Senkōji Temple, we will return to Onomichi Station and take a break for lunch. Following lunch, we will rent electric-assist bicycles at the station and head over to Mukaishima.
After a brief 5-minute ferry ride to Mukaishima, the cycling journey continues through the scenic islands. Upon arrival at Habu Port on Innoshima, we will drop off the bicycles and head back to Onomichi Station by taxi.
The tour will conclude upon arrival at Onomichi Station.
Guests staying at hotels near the station will be escorted to their accommodations.
Your guide will meet you either at JR Onomichi Station.
For easy recognition, the guide will be holding a sign displaying the lead traveler’s name.
