After meeting the guide, we will travel to Himeji Castle by taxi or on foot. Himeji Castle, also known as the "White Heron Castle" due to its elegant white appearance, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Japan's most spectacular and well-preserved castles.
Inside Himeji Castle, there are many steep stairs and uneven steps, so please wear comfortable shoes for walking.
Koko-en is a Japanese garden adjacent to Himeji Castle, featuring beautifully landscaped grounds with traditional tea houses, seasonal flower displays, tranquil ponds, and charming walking paths that showcase the essence of Japanese garden design.
Before moving to Mount Shosha Enkyo-ji Temple, we will take lunch time in Himeji city. If you have any requests, please feel free to discuss them with the guide.
After lunch, we will travel to Mount Shosha Enkyo-ji Temple by taxi. The temple is famous as the filming location of “The Last Samurai,” starring Tom Cruise, and is known for its historic temples, beautiful natural scenery, and peaceful hiking trails.
The guide will be waiting in front of the Central Gate at Himeji Station, holding a sign with your name on it.
