Detailed itinerary

1

In the morning, after picking up the group in the urban area of Guangzhou, we visited the "Flower City Square" (Flower City Square). Originally named Guangzhou City New Central Axis Square, the square's ground features an artificial landscape lake, large fountains, a lighted square, a cold mist cooling system, and over 600 trees. At the northern end of the Flower City Square, there are 5 flower islands, among which 3 are cherry blossom islands and 2 are peach blossom islands, complemented by willow trees. The variety of plants is used to enhance the reputation of Flower City, creating an atmosphere of pink and green. It will be transformed into the largest, most diverse, most beautiful, and most distinctive flower viewing venue in Guangzhou, featuring the most vibrant flowers throughout the year, with a variety of flowers competing for beauty. This will enhance the brand of Flower City.

The Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area is located in the north of Guangzhou City and is known as "the First Mountain of Nanzhao". The entire area of Baiyun Mountain is 28 square kilometers. Its highest peak, Moxingling, has an altitude of 382 meters and is the highest peak in Guangzhou City. It is said that every autumn, white clouds often rise slowly, turning the mountain into a vast expanse of white, like a veil covering it, thus earning the name "Baiyun Mountain". Since ancient times, Baiyun Mountain has always been a famous scenic spot in Guangzhou. Among the "Eight Scenic Views of Guangzhou" in history, "Chulai Cloud Shadows", "Baiyun Evening View", "Pu Jian Linquan", and "Jingtai Monk's Return" are all located in Baiyun Mountain.

After the tour, drive to the [Huangpu Military Academy] (closed on Mondays and replaced by the Military Academy Commercial Street) (Tour duration: 60 minutes)
It is a key cultural relic protection unit at the national and provincial levels. It was the most famous military school in modern China, training many commanders who were renowned during the Anti-Japanese War and the Chinese Civil War. The first to sixth periods of the first cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party were originally located in the Huangpu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, on Changzhou Island. The scenic area includes: Huangpu Military Exhibition Center, the Principal's Office, the Political Department, the Military Supplies Department, the Grand Hall, student dormitories, etc. On the island, there are also: the Cemetery of Martyrs of the Eastern Expedition, the Memorial of the Northern Expedition, Jizhen Park, Kebai Shipyard, the Persian Building, Sun Yat-sen's Former Residence

After lunch, head to [Chen Family Temple] (closed on Tuesdays and now serves as the Memorial Hall of the Xinhai Revolution) (Chen Family Temple; Tour duration: 1 hour). Built during the Guangxu era, Chen Family Temple has a history dating back to 1894 and is also known as the Chen Clan Academy. It is a national key cultural relic protection site in Guangzhou. Located among the tall buildings and with a busy traffic scene on Zhongshan Seventh Road, it was initially built as a communal ancestral hall by the Chen families from 72 counties in Guangdong Province, providing accommodation for local scholars from all over to take the imperial examinations in Guangzhou. Due to its well-preserved and ingeniously crafted architectural features, it was selected as one of the "Eight Scenic Views of Guangzhou in the New Century" under the name "Ancient Temple Resonating with Fragrance".

5

After the tour, we drove to 【Yuexiu Park】 (Tour duration: 1 hour). Yuexiu Park is also known as Yuexiu Mountain. It got its name because King Zhao of Nanzhao of the Western Han Dynasty once built "Zhaozhou Terrace" on this mountain. There was also a Guanyin Pavilion, so it was also called Guanyin Mountain. It is the largest comprehensive park in Guangzhou. To watch the city symbol of Guangzhou - the Five-Angled Stone Statue, over the years, the Five-Angled Stone Carving has been regarded as the city emblem of Guangzhou, adding much charm to Yuexiu Park. The legend of the Five-Angled Stone also spreads widely. Tourists from home and abroad come here, their minds filled with imagination, and they linger here without wanting to leave, taking photos and leaving souvenirs.
