We start the tour by picking up passengers according to the option chosen at the time of booking, either from a meeting point, hotels in Miraflores, Barranco or from Jorge Chávez International Airport. The time and price vary according to the type of pickup selected.
Then we visit the Parque del Amor, in Miraflores, one of the most romantic parks in the world, with colorful mosaics, sea view and the emblematic sculpture “El Beso” by the Peruvian artist Victor Delfín, inspired by the Park Güell of Barcelona.
Continuing our tour, you will visit the Huaca Pucllana Archaeological Site in a panoramic manner, a sacred site belonging to the Lima culture.
We will continue to the Historic Center of Lima, where we will walk through its most emblematic squares, streets and churches. In Plaza Mayor, our guide will share the history of the ancient Viceroyalty of Peru while admiring monuments such as Lima Cathedral, the Government Palace and the Archbishop’s Palace.
At the end, we will visit the ChocoMuseum, where we will learn about the history of Peruvian cocoa and taste chocolates, spirits and handmade jams.
We will continue our tour admiring the old train station, today converted into the House of Peruvian Literature, and we will have time to explore local craft shops.
Finally, we will visit the Convent and Museum of San Francisco and its famous catacombs, with a guided tour of approximately 30 minutes. At the end of the tour, we will transfer you back to your hotel. If you wish to stay for lunch or dinner in the historic center, return will be at your own expense.
