Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

The tour begins in Plaza Catalunya, where each child will receive their own map and we will start the adventure in search of the secret guardians of the city.

2

We will head towards Las Ramblas, where our first stop will be the famous Gutter fountain. There we will discover its history and, of course, we will drink of this magical water that, according to tradition, grants luck to those who try it!

3

After a short stop to taste some magic nougat, we will head towards the Plaza de la Villa in Madrid, where we will meet the first guardians of the city. There we will also explore a very special place: the Roman cemetery, where the ancient inhabitants of Barcelona rest.

4

We will leave the Plaza de la Villa in search of the giant thermometer, which is located in the Portal de l’Àngel. Once we find it, it will show us the way to the College of Architects, where we can contemplate Picasso’s drawings. There we will receive our next clue and meet more city keepers.

5

Picasso’s drawing shows us the way to the old town of the city. After admiring the Roman aqueduct, we will head to the House of the City Archive of Barcelona, where we will discover two more guardians who guard ancient secrets of the city.

6

With the help of the turtle, we will reach the square where the knight Ramon Berenguer is located. After reviewing its history, we will follow the clues your horse tells us, advancing our search for the guardians of the city.

7
Stop 7

After encountering some very important characters for Catalan culture, such as Caganer, we will arrive at Plaza del Rey, in the ancient city of the Counts of Barcelona.

8
Stop 8

We will continue on our way to Barcelona Cathedral, where we will discover some magical animals that hide in its corners. We can also observe the stones marked with the claws of a famous dragon, a memory of the legends that protect the city.

9
Stop 9

The route will take us to one of the oldest neighborhoods of Barcelona, where we will explore its history and discover ancient manuscripts written on its walls in languages difficult to understand. Then we will continue our way to Las Ramblas, in search of the famous dragon that is said to live there.

10

We will return to Las Ramblas to search for the famous dragon hiding in the Chinese Umbrella House. He will show us the way forward, which will take us to the mosaic of Joan Miró, one of Catalonia’s most celebrated artists, located on Rambla itself.

11
Stop 11

Following the path of the Miró mosaic, we will walk down Las Ramblas, pass in front of the Liceu theater, until we reach the Plaza Real, where we will discover the famous snakes that guard the lampposts designed by Gaudí, other guardians that protect the city.

12

We can admire the famous sculptures of the Castellers, declared an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO, an example of the living heritage that remains part of the life of the city.

13
Stop 13

We will finish the tour in the most important square of the city, where we will find the most famous and beloved guardian of Catalonia, Sant Jordi.
