The tour starts at 9:00 AM at the Colchis Fountain.
We begin with a visit to Motsameta Monastery, built by the brother lords David and Constantine Mkheidze. Next, we explore Mtsvanekvavila Church, followed by a stop at the Annunciation Church. The tour ends at Bagrati Cathedral, the symbol of a united Georgia, built in 1003.
After the tour, we return to the original meeting point.

Due to reconstruction works, Gelati Monastery is open only on weekends.
If you book the tour on Saturday or Sunday, the tour will start at Gelati Monastery. On other days, we follow the standard itinerary.

Men: No shorts above the knees; hats must be removed inside
Women: Skirts or dresses below the knees; hair must be covered inside churches

Small information about this place:
Gelati Monastery is one of Georgia’s most important historical and religious sites. It is located near Kutaisi and was built in 1106 by King David IV, also known as David the Builder. Gelati was not only a monastery but also a major cultural and educational center, often called the “Academy of Gelati.”
The complex is famous for its beautiful medieval frescoes and mosaics. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is considered a symbol of Georgia’s Golden Age.
