Begin your journey with a scenic drive from Rovaniemi to Korouoma Canyon - a spectacular 30-kilometer-long canyon known for its towering cliffs and mesmerizing waterfalls. Upon arrival, your expert guide will lead you on a shorter hike, perfect for families. Along the way, you’ll soak in the peaceful beauty of this natural reserve, with opportunities to spot local wildlife. The frozen waterfall, create a magical backdrop for a truly unique outdoor experience.
After enjoying the wonders of Korouoma, we’ll head back to the car for a quick drive to the next adventure.
Our next stop takes us to the picturesque Auttiköngäs Nature Trail, where a short walk leads you to the charming wooden bridge where you can see magnificent Auttiköngäs waterfall. After exploring the waterfall, we’ll gather around an open fire for a BBQ lunch. Enjoy the food while your guide shares stories about the region and the wonders of Lapland. You’ll even learn how to build a fire using traditional methods!
The excursion lasts around 6 hours, including transportation, hiking and lunchtime around the fire.
In all our activities, our groups are limited to 8 people maximum. It is very important for us to provide you with the best experience possible, and avoid mass tourism.
