Join us on a full-day, small-group wine tour of the Spectacular Napa Valley wine country for guests coming from San Francisco! Take the San Francisco Bay Ferry & meet us at the Vallejo Ferry Terminal. In our small shuttle bus, you’ll visit three charming, back roads wineries that change daily and be served a picnic lunch in an idyllic winery setting. Your tour guide will tell fascinating stories and share many interesting tidbits about local history, culture and wine making. Our specialty is intimate, light hearted and truly memorable experiences. Your guide will set up a tasty picnic lunch for you at a picturesque winery. Once the tour concludes, you will be dropped off at the Vallejo Ferry Terminal in time to catch one of the evening return ferries to San Francisco. The tour typically has 8-12 guests on board.

Tasting fees at the three wineries visited are separate, however they are discounted for our guests and many waive that fee with wine purchase.

Meeting point

When you arrive at the Vallejo ferry terminal, our bus will be parked at the curb across from the ferry around 9:25am.

Important notes

•Platypus picks up at the Vallejo Ferry Terminal at 9:30am. Ferry cost is separate. Guests must coordinate ferry schedule: http://sanfranciscobayferry.com/route/sffb/vallejo
• Tasting fees are extra and those average $20-$25 per person per winery
• Gratuity for the tour guide is not included, but encouraged. (Parties of 5 or more traveling together will have an automatic 20% gratuity charged at the conclusion of the tour)
• Comfortable walking shoes are recommended
• Minimum age is 21 years
• Please call or email the local operator after booking to provide a mobile number in the event we need to reach you the day of the tour
• We provide plenty of water on board
• We can accommodate vegetarian, gluten-free and most other diet restrictions
• Guests return to the Vallejo Ferry Terminal between 5:00-5:30 in time for an evening return ferry boat (cost of ferry ride is separate).
