Your excursion starts with a scenic drive to Paleokastritsa, one of Corfu’s most beloved coastal spots. Famous for its bright turquoise waters, steep cliffs, and rich greenery, it offers incredible views and a peaceful environment perfect for sightseeing or unwinding.
Here, you will enjoy a 45-minute boat trip on a traditional wooden boat. The cruise follows the shoreline and, if weather conditions and cave access allow, takes you into the sea caves - an unforgettable highlight and a great opportunity for photos.
Next, you’ll visit the Monastery of Paleokastritsa, a 13th-century Byzantine site perched above the coastline. From its hilltop setting, you’ll enjoy wide views of the sea as your guide shares the monastery’s history and the stories linked to this quiet, scenic place.
Please note that if vehicles cannot reach the top, getting to the monastery may require a short 15-minute uphill walk.
Afterward, you’ll continue to Corfu Town, the island’s historic center and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its narrow cobblestone streets, Venetian-style architecture, and lively squares lead you to well-known landmarks like the Old Fortress and the Liston Promenade.
You’ll take a guided walk through the town and then have around an hour of free time to explore on your own. Enjoy local food at a traditional taverna, shop for souvenirs such as olive-oil products or kumquat liqueur, or simply stroll through the charming streets. Blending centuries of history with vibrant daily life, Corfu Town offers something for every visitor.
At the end of your adventure, you'll be returned to your cruise ship on time, ensuring a smooth and stress-free departure. You'll leave with unforgettable memories of Corfu.
Please do not take the terminal shuttle! Upon arrival at Corfu port, look for a vehicle with a "Vexperio" sign. We’ll have a special license to park close to your cruise ship. Please walk a few meters to the parking area near the ship (not next to it) and do not take the shuttle to terminal.
