Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

We arrive at Angkor Wat while the sky is still dark to claim the best viewing spot before the crowd gathers. Witness the sun rising behind the lotus-shaped towers as it bathes the ancient sandstone in gold. Your guide will share the history and spiritual significance of this UNESCO World Heritage Site, offering context to this once-in-a-lifetime moment.

2
Stop 2

After exploring Angkor Wat, walk east to a breakfast spot near Srah Srang, where bikes await. Enjoy a light Khmer-style breakfast in a peaceful forest, filled with bird sounds and breezes. Relax before riding. Your guide will give a safety briefing and check your bike. Whether riding a Trek Marlin 7 MTB or EMTB, we'll ensure your comfort. Then, explore scenic backroads with pagodas, rice fields, and village homes for an authentic rural Cambodia experience.

3

Cycle through the jungle trails to Ta Prohm, the world-famous “Tomb Raider Temple.” Known for massive tree roots swallowing ancient stone walls, this temple is hauntingly beautiful. You’ll have plenty of time to explore, take photos, and learn how nature and history come together here.

4
Stop 4

From Ta Prohm, follow the shaded forest trails and explore the ancient dikes as you go. The route features a charming blend of dirt paths and single-track riding, leading you to Preah Khan — one of the grandest temple complexes in Angkor. This site is often less crowded and offers a peaceful, serene experience. Temple feels like a hidden gem.

5
Stop 5

As you explore the city walls of Angkor Thom, take a moment to enjoy a snack and some fresh fruit before heading to the breathtaking Bayon. Be amazed by the 54 towers decorated with 216 mysterious smiling faces, and learn more about the influential King Jayavarman VII, who created this incredible masterpiece.
Adventurous riders can enjoy a short detour to the West Gate for peaceful photo opportunities and fewer crowds. Afterwards, pedal toward the grand South Gate of Angkor Thom to complete the main loop. For those with extra energy, ride an additional 5km along scenic countryside roads to discover a hidden Khmer restaurant near town.
