Then our next destination is visiting Besakih Temple, this grand temple complex has been revered as a holy place since ancient times.

Lunch will be serve in a restaurant near the temple, after lunch finish we will drive you to visit Tirta Empul Temple where this temple is known for its sacred water from a nearby source, which is used for cleansing rituals. Kehen Temple is one of the most popular Bali Places of Interest, its enshrines three gods : Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva which is believed to have been built even before construction of the town and now lies at the outskirts of the city. The town itself is dominated by the royal houses spread around its main square. Kehen Temple is the royal ancestral temple of Bangli Kingdom, one of the eight most important royal houses on Bali. Literally meaning the temple of the hearth or the household, this refers to Hyang Api or the God of Fire, symbol of the Hindu god Brahma.

Besakih Temple is one of the most popular Bali Places of Interest opened for tourist and it is the great place to visit during your holiay in Bali island. This Hindu temple known as Bali's Mother Temple for over 1,000 years, sits 1,000 meters high on the southwestern slopes of Mount Agung. Besakih is an artistic and unique complex that comprises at least 86 temples which include the main Pura Penataran Agung (the Great Temple of State) and 18 others. Besakih is the biggest and holiest of the island temples and is surrounded by breathtaking and scenic rice paddies, hills, mountains, streams and more.

Tirta Empul Temple is one of the most famous Bali Places of Interest and a beautiful temple complex with holy mountain spring located in the village of Manukaya in central Bali. The site serves as a legendary setting of a traditional tale about good versus evil, its also a national cultural heritage site. The complex built in 960 AD is also a silent witness to the old Balinese kingdom years, particularly at the time of the Warmadewa Dynasty. Another nearby and prominent site on top of a hill is the presidential palace, Istana Tampaksiring, built during the years of the nation first president, Soekarno.

Gunung Kawi Rocky Temple is one of the most famous Bali Places of Interest in order to get to this archeological site, we need to walk down to the valley on a couple hundreds step. There are some shops along the way selling typical tourist stuff although they also sell some unique handicrafts like coconut shell carving and bone carving. Bone carvings are indeed available all over Bali but its originally from this village. Some of talented carver specializing in carving the bone or even ivory are coming from this area. As you walk further down, your eyes will started to be pleased by the beautiful view of the valley.

Goa Gajah Temple is one of the most popular Bali Places of Interest, its an archaeological site of significant historical value that makes it a special place to visit. Located on the cool western edge of Bedulu Village, six kilometers out of central Ubud, you do not need more than an hour to descend to its relic filled courtyard and view the rock-wall carvings, a central meditational cave, bathing pools and fountains. The temple name is slightly misleading, lending the impression that its a gigantic dwelling full of elephants.
