About this experience

Discover Mucha's Life's Work: The Slav Epic
A breathtaking experience awaits you at Moravský Krumlov Chateau, located just 50 km west of Brno. Immerse yourself in the monumental beauty of The Slav Epic—a cycle of 20 massive canvases to which Alfons Mucha dedicated 18 years of his life. You can enjoy the stories hidden within the colors with an English audio guide narrated by the artist's own great-grandson, Marcus Mucha. On the way back to Brno, we might stop in Dolní Kounice, where one of the oldest and largest medieval castles in the Czech Republic towers over the local vineyards.
