About this experience

We offer a full day excursion to the historically significant My Lai site.  This is a unique experience and you will be accompanied  by a professional guide with exceptional knowledge about the history of the Vietnam War and My Lai Massacre who is willing to share his knowledge of the important events which took place there over 40 years ago.  A day trip to My Lai will provide everlasting memories and give unique insights into an event which changed the course of history.

This tour commences at your hotel at 8am from where you will be driven in a new luxury  vehicle by your driver who is mindful of your safety at all times and your professional tour guide. As we make our way to My Lai, there are coffee stops along the way and we will stop to  enjoy real Vietnamese coffee at a local Café.

On your arrival at  My Lai you will watch an emotionally charged video, and then you are free to roam the Museum at leisure before visiting the sites in the surrounding gardens. 

Your guide will be on hand to answer questions in English and help with camera shots. 

After, you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant with local Vietnamese cuisine.

The tour ends at around 16:00 or later

Approximately 07 km from Tam Ky city and 40 km from Hoi An city, the Monument of Vietnamese Heroic Mother has enormous cultural, social and political significance. It pay tribute to Vietnam's mothers, who sacrificed greatly for the independence, freedom and unification of their nation. Inside the monument is a commemorative house, with an area of 1.800 m2. Here, the names of more than 100,000 heroic mothers are listed, along with their stories and the contributions they made to Vietnam.
