About this experience

This engagement experience begins with a private helicopter flight from Manhattan to a semi private lakeside airport in Upstate New York, with a scenic 15-minute air tour of NYC on the way. Couples are offered complimentary champagne toast during their flight (minimum drinking age is 21) and a bouquet of roses and small box of chocolates for this special occasion.

Upon arrival at the airstrip you may pop the question next to the helicopter, on the lake shore or in the shade of large, old trees. The grass runway end area can be closed off with advance notice to safely accommodate friends and family members.

This package includes a professional engagement photographer who will fly with you (under a cover story) to document your entire proposal including the helicopter flight. The helicopter will wait one hour on the ground then fly you back to Manhattan.

Detailed itinerary

Stop 1

Passengers must arrive at the heliport 15 minutes before the scheduled helicopter departure. Flight time from Manhattan to Warwick Municipal Airport is ~ 45 minutes with a brief aerial tour of New York City on the way.

Upon arrival at Warwick Airport, you may pop the question next to the helicopter, on the lakeshore or in the shade of large, old trees. The grass runway end area can be closed off with advance notice to safely accommodate friends and family members. The helicopter will wait one hour on the ground then fly you back to Manhattan or Westchester. Please note: this experience is limited to daylight hours only. The experience is subject to weather and helicopter maintenance. Helicopters can land at this lakeside, semi-private airport during daylight hours.

Flight time from Warwick Municipal Airport to New York City is ~ 30 minutes. Helicopter returns to starting point.
