With a fireworks display of gags and festive “Schallala”, Black Forest drag queen Betty BBQ will get you in the mood for the best time of the year. The streets of Freiburg are transformed into the stage of an enchanting mix of travesty, comedy and Christmas-themed miniature art show.
Betty BBQ uses her very own humor to tell of the turmoil of the holiday season, of bowls, mulled wine and the inevitable Christmas sip. With a lot of charm and a good dose of self-irony, she answers questions about whether a baby conceived at the Christmas party ES is actually a “punch child”, how it feels when not only the tree has all the lamps on and why Freiburg has such a special Christmas market.
