The Portuguese "West Coast" is branded by having the Largest Waves in the World, usually occurring in Nazaré. Surfers from around the globe come just to surf them!
We'll start the day by picking you up, and going to Óbidos (1-hour drive). Óbidos is a historical town, dating back to the Romans, and is filled with royal enchantment you'll love!
After that, we go to Nazaré. We'll be able to enjoy a walk along the shore, and, if we're lucky, watch some of the biggest waves in the world! This fishing village gets its name after a statue of the Virgin Mary, brought from Nazareth by a monk in the 4th century.
Here, you'll be able to lunch and taste our amazing grilled fish! (At your own expense.) There's plenty to choose from!
After lunch, we'll move to Batalha, where we'll admire the pure magnificence of the Batalha monastery, We can also have a taste of the regional pastries!
