Meet your private guide and driver at your hotel lobby in Kaifeng and drive about 2.5 hours to Shaolin Temple, which is located in Dengfeng County, Henan province. It was originally built in 495 in the Northern Wei Dynasty (368-534), reputed to be 'the Number One Temple under Heaven'. Accompanied by your tour guide, you will first visit Shanmen Hall, Hall of Heavenly Kings and Thousand-Buddha Hall.

Followed by the Pagoda Forest at Shaolin Temple, the most interesting part of the whole complex. It refers to the 228 stone or brick pagodas built from 791 AD during the Tang Dynasty through the Song Dynasty, Yuan Dynasty, Ming Dynasty, and Qing Dynasty.

Then accompanied by your guide, you can enjoy a 30-minute real Kungfu performance performed by Shaolin monks.
After that, you can choose to have a vegetarian lunch in Shaolin temple or enjoy a local lunch outside.
