This 10-hour day adventure is the ultimate thrilling escape that will take you from San Francisco to the American River for an all-inclusive unique whitewater rafting adventure. Our river rafting adventure will start at 7 am with a complimentary pick-up at your hotel in San Francisco and will end at 7 pm back at your hotel or drop off location. Prepare yourself for 8 to 10-mile exhilarating rafting down the American river that flows throughout the Sierra wilderness. This River Rafting trip qualifies as class III rapids and are accessible to beginners and intermediate paddlers. No prior whitewater experience is required. However, participants are required to have a minimum weight of 80lbs or 8 years of age. Please do not underestimate the safety instructions that will be given to you by your tour leader.

After lunch (included in the tour price as picnic lunch), you may take a relaxing walking tour to visit James Marshall State Park where Gold was discovered in 1848 (entrance fees are not included but affordable). You may also visit some wineries on the way back to your hotel or explore one of the largest shopping outlets in California.
