Once you book, we organize everything. Just show up at Piazza del Colosseo, 21. (Green Kiosk outside Colosseo Metro ground floor entrance) at the correct time (Please arrive 20 minutes before your booked entry time) and your guide will be waiting with a Maya tours flag to escort you inside the Colosseum, where we they will take you through security, provide you with your ticket and take you on your tour.
If you arrive late for the meeting time (20 minutes before your booked entry time), it will not be possible to join the group or reschedule. As per "No Show" rules you will not be entitled to a refund.
The Colosseum reservations have very strict timing. To join the tour, you are required to be at the meeting point at least 20 minutes prior to your tour departure time. The Colosseum administration do not allow any lenience for late arrivals.
All clients will be asked to show a photo ID, you must bring a photo ID to be allowed into the monument. It is mandatory to have a photo ID or a clear copy, you will be denied entry to the monument without one.
Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to provide all travelers full names (as written on the identification document) prior to entry will result in denied entry to the monument.
Due to the Jubilee, some monuments or areas may be under restoration and subject to last minute closures. Please pay attention to any messages we may send regarding potential changes.
Please be aware that large bags/backpacks/suitcases are not permitted in the monument/ attraction. Only very small bags are allowed. Please do not bring these items with you on the day of your tour as there are no cloakrooms at the monument.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
It is forbidden to bring inside the Colosseum: glass, sharp objects, alcohol, spray.
Due to uneven surfaces, this tour is not suitable for those with walking disabilities or using a wheelchair. This tour is NOT wheelchair accessible.
It is not possible to contact guides when they are inside the monument, it is the clients responsibility to stay with the guided tour group, if you lose your guide inside, there is nothing we can do in this case.
