About this experience

Experience some of the most majestic views of the lower Columbia River Gorge visible by water. Travel under several famous bridges on your journey from Portland to Multnomah Falls while exploring unique views of the Willamette River and the mighty Columbia River aboard the Explorer Jetboat. Checking Into Your Cruise:
• When you arrive, follow the signs to the boats/dock. There is an outdoor patio to use until boarding begins.
• Your guide will greet you and take you down to the boat approximately 10-15 minutes prior to the departure time.
• Please arrive early! The boat leaves promptly at the scheduled departure time. For the sake of everyone on board, we are unable to delay for late arrivals.
• We take a boarding photo of all passengers, but it's optional to purchase the printed souvenir photo.
• We are U.S. Coast Guard regulated; as part of our safety and security plan, passengers 18 years of age and older must carry photo identification.

Please Take Note:
• You are welcome to bring food and drink on board as long as it fits in a small bag that can be held in your lap or at your feet (no glass, please). Please keep bags and personal belongings to a minimum.
• There is a small bathroom on board, but we recommend using the restroom before boarding. Our staff restrooms in the office will be made available to you.
• The Explorer Jetboat is not climate controlled; please dress for the weather.
• Although the boat is mostly covered, there is an uncovered deck in the back. Sunglasses, hats and sunscreen are recommended. Binoculars and cameras are encouraged!
• This is a non-smoking vessel.
• The jetboat can be loud, so headphones to listen to the narration will be available or request complimentary ear plugs.
• The Explorer Jetboat is not wheelchair/walker accessible. Must be steady on feet and take steps.
