About this experience

The journey is made in total comfort aboard a minibus, always accompanied by an expert guide who will share interesting facts and insights about the region throughout the day.

Departure is at 08:00 AM from the meeting point at Calçada da Vandoma, heading towards the Douro Valley through landscapes marked by terraced vineyards and the winding Douro River.

The first experience of the day will be a visit to Quinta de S. Luiz (or similar), a historic wine estate connected to Douro wine production. Here, you will have the opportunity to learn about the estate’s history, the region’s winemaking traditions, and production methods.

Next, you will enjoy a boat trip on the Douro River, where you can relax while admiring the unique scenery from the water, surrounded by vineyards and traditional wine estates.
On the way back, there will be a stop at the São Cristóvão do Douro Viewpoint, where you can enjoy panoramic views over the valley and take photos of this iconic landscape.
