After spending your time in Coptic Cairo, you will move to the mosques.
Built between 1356 and 1363 by the Mamluk ruler Sultan Hassan, the Madrassa-Mosque of Sultan Hassan is located at the Citadel Square, which is considered the pyramid of Islamic structures. This fascinating place was used as a school, mosque, and mausoleum. Your Egyptologist will provide you with an introduction to the main elements of the mosque and basic Islamic principles.

There you will learn about the history and customs of the Jewish community in Egypt. The temple is famous for the Geniza: archives of valuable and rare documents.
