About this experience
Our Mekong day tour will be an ideal option for those who wish to have a real experience on the landscape, people and culture of the Mekong Delta. The day tour leads you to embark on the boat to visit the Cai Be floating market for some tropical fruits as well as to meet and talk to the local sellers right on boats. Also, you will have a chance to stop at the abundant orchards, talk to the locals, and observe them do the gardening and enjoy the fresh fruits and visit to the local's traditional handicraft villages.

Stop 1
6:30 AM: Depart for Cai Be via Trung Luong Express Highway, with a photo stop in Tan An town to capture views of the rice fields.
9:30 AM: Arrive in Cai Be. Board a motorboat to explore the Cai Be floating market and observe local trade. Visit a small family business for a coconut candy and crispy rice popcorn demo. Stroll through nearby villages, enjoying traditional folk music along the way.
11:30 AM: Cruise through canals and arrive at Tan Phong island. Join a cooking class to prepare Vietnamese dishes, followed by lunch in a garden setting. Relax on hammocks afterward.
2:00 PM: Cycle around village paths, meeting locals and visiting orchards.
3:00 PM: Return to Cai Be, then transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City.
