Detailed itinerary

1

Begin with pick-up at 8 am from your hotel, Jaipur airport or other desired location in Jaipur and visit the first hidden gem Khole Ke Hanuman Ji Temple, constructed in the year 1960 and dedicated to the Hindu God, Lord Hanuman, become a must-visit for its panoramic views of the Aravallis and peaceful environment. The temple situated on a hilltop and surrounded by hills on three sides was commissioned by Pandit Radhe Lal Choubey, a resident of Jamwa Ramgarh after he chanced upon a rock with a carving of Lord Hanuman. Taking it as a cue, he decided to build a temple at the site in 1961. The Dal- Bati Churma and Swamani Prashads which are cooked in the numerous kitchens inside the temple premises are quite famous here. One should not miss these Prashad.

2

Tour the second hidden gem of Jaipur Panna Meena Stepwell, The beautiful 16th-century yellow-colored stepwell lies in the shadow of a famous fortress Amber Fort. A pretty baori (step-well) with geometrical designs and sharp shadows that has been restored. This stepwell was built so the people of Amer could collect water, which was later used at many temples nearby. Women also came here to fill their water pots for household work. Apart from this, Panna Meena ka Kund was a resting place for many travelers—business people and saints alike—as the temperature inside the stepwell is significantly cooler.

3

A small hidden gem built in 1973, is veritable dreamland for both kids and adults, who want to savor the unique taste of world culture. The museum comes with a wide range of toys and figurines, which exhibit various genres and styles. The massive collection of puppets and figurines in the museum is displayed in five different galleries. All these galleries contain different dolls, which have been gathered from different parts of India as well as the world.

Later enjoy your lunch at a Local air-conditioned Restaurant.

4

Often referred to as “the most colorful door in India” and an Instagram-worthy spot in the city. This hidden gem of Jaipur is built-in 2016, the Gate contains a colorful cacophony of hues depicting the history of Jaipur, India’s famed Pink City. As you walk under the gate, you’ll find a row of fabulous archways. Each one has been decorated with Rajasthani culture in mind. It showcases major attractions in Jaipur, such as Jal Mahal, as well as colorful artwork.

5

Galtaji Temple - a hidden gem of Jaipur also called the ‘Monkey Temple’ because of the abundance of monkeys here. Regarded as a highly sacred pilgrimage with great historical significance. The temple complex is basically a cluster of several temples, Galta Ji being the main temple. The temples are built within a narrow crevice of a mountain pass in the Aravalli hills.

The temple complex has several sacred tanks that are locally called Kunds and are used by pilgrims for bathing and thereby washing away their sins. The kunds are filled by the means of a natural spring that emerges high on the hills and makes its way downward, filling all seven sacred kunds. The Galta Kund is considered to be the holiest of all kunds here, and also holds great significance as it is believed to have never dried up till date.

6

The last hidden gem on your tour of Jaipur is 'Surya Mandir' this beautiful temple sits atop a 200-meter hill, providing an excellent vantage point to watch the sunset in Jaipur over the city skyline. This temple is a little off the regular tourist beat. The Surya Mandir translates to the “Sun Temple“. It’s only fitting then that it’s also one of the best Jaipur viewpoints to watch the sunset at.

You’ll find this temple as part of the Galta Ji temple complex, which is also on the same road leading to the Sun Temple (Surya Mandir). It was logical to build the Sun temple on the Eastern hill range as the Sun rises from the East direction.

See the Panoramic shot of the pink city captured amidst the backdrop of a beautiful sunset sky. After a memorable day, your tour ends with a return to your hotel or other desired location in Jaipur.
