What you'll see

Your dedicated desert guide will pick up from your hotel in Sharm between 06.45 - 07.00. You will head north, passing by Dahab, before going west along the asphalt road, to the entrance of the desert at Wadi Arada. You will continue driving off-road through the valley, passing local dwellings, and reaching the top of the Double Canyon.

Here you will descend the canyon by foot, manoeuvring and sliding down the canyon floor, which is a challenging and thrilling experience. Once on the canyon floor, you will meander through the canyon of sand stone formations, and reaching a place where lunch is being freshly prepared. Enjoy an authentic lunch cooked on the open fire, with freshly baked bread.

After lunch you will get back to the 4x4 Jeeps and cross the desert plateau into El Barqat desert, up to the highest sand dunes in South Sinai, passing amazing rock formations, local villages and stunning scenery.

We take time to stop off at each location and stop at the sand dunes for some sand-boarding down the long dunes. Taking the jeeps back towards the asphalt road we stop off at Nawamis, an area of ancient tombs dating back to the bronze age, a spectacular end to an exciting day, the tombs playing with mixture of pink, orange and purple colors. You will return to Sharm at approximately 7pm, and will be dropped off at your hotel.
