After arriving to the town of Stresa, a nice ferry-boat ride will take you to the Borromean islands. Here you will explore the magnificent Borromean Palace and the stunning gardens offering amazing views on the lake. On the island you can enjoy lunch and then continue the tour with your driver and if you wish you may stop to visit the Eremo of Santa Caterina, an ancient monastery.
