Stop 3

Visit the Jesus Christ Statue. Walking up the 847 stairs and meeting the 32 meter-tall (105 feet) Statue of Jesus, considered one of the tallest statues of Jesus Christ in Asia. Its outstretched arms span a little over 18.4 meters. Originally started in 1972, but the construction was only completed in 1993. The adventurous travelers are welcome to climb up to the top of inside Christ arms and enjoy the breathtaking panoramic view of Vung Tau city (Interesting fact: The statue of Christ in Rio de Janeiro - Brazil is only 30 meter-tall.).

Note: You can choose to visit this WAR-LIKE MUSEUM or UPSIDE DOWN HOUSE (below attraction) and please note in the booking.
This special museum owned by a British personal exhibits the unique weapons from ancient times from 12th century till now of all over the world from East to West and the military uniforms of armies in the world.

One of the best-kept secrets in Vung Tau and often overlooked for its small size, Hon Ba Island is home to the Mieu Ba Temple. Typically only accessible by boat, every 14th and 15th lunar day of the month, the tides recede enough that you can walk from shore to the island.

An important religious site to the locals, the island also hosts many spiritual festivities throughout the year.

7

White Palace has its French name which is La Villa Blanche. Tracing back to the year of 1898, it was considered as a summer holiday villa of French Governor General Paul Doumer. This palace was named after his lovely daughter. Unfortunately, while the structure was being built, Doumer had to come back to France and became the President of France later. It was not until 1916 that it was officially used for holiday resting of some Indochina-French Governors. Once visiting the White Palace, you will be attracted by its all white appearance, which is the reason why people here call it “Bach Dinh” (“Bach” means white color in Vietnamese).

8

Mui Nghinh Phong and Cong Troi are ideal hideaways for tourists who love romantic views and evocative photographs, especially couples who want to have special wedding pictures.
