About this experience

Enjoy a Private Tour of the Cape Winelands visiting 4 beautiful wine estates in the picturesque Franschhoek, Stellenbosch and Paarl area. The tour includes a stop at the Huguenot Museum in Franschhoek for some historical information about the Huguenots who first farmed the area and created South Africa’s first wine farms. As this is a private tour you are also welcome to choose the wine estates and make your own itinerary!

Est in 1722, Tokara sits on the southern slopes of the Simonsberg mountain overlooking breathtaking views. Here you will have your first wine tasting. At TOKARA they focus on two of the greatest grape varieties in the world, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon blanc. At the tasting you will have a choice of 4 options; Seasonal collection, Premium Collection, Reserve Collection or Directors Reserve.

Delaire Graff Estate is luxury Winelands experience considered a world-leading destination for wine, art and hospitality in an unrivalled setting. Designed with the discerning global traveller in mind, enjoy the breath-taking views of the Stellenbosch Valley whilst enjoying a “Tutored Wine Experience”. Experience a selection of our wine by the glass (50ml per tasting) whilst our knowledgeable wine tutors guide you through each wine. Available options are 3, 4 and 5 wines per tasting.

Next is the beautiful little town of Franschhoek (French Corner) where we will visit the Huguenot Museum for a cultural and historical tour. of the French Protestant who migrated here in the late 1680s. You are welcome to have lunch at Franschhoek or move onto Mont Rochelle for lunch at MIKO. Its up to you!

Mont Rochelle is an exclusive estate where they cultivate and nurture various grape varieties including Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, that are used for blending purposes to add complexity. At Mont Rochelle you will be able to have lunch at either of their restaurants. (Lunch is at own expense) As this is a private tour you can decide when and where you would prefer to eat.

• Our last stop is Fairview for a cheese and wine tasting. Their world-renowned tasting room consists of 4 unique, barrel-shaped ‘pods’ that facilitate a welcoming and more social tasting. Fairview offers a tasting selection of 6 different wines with dedicated hosts to guide and assist.
