About this experience

This 4-day Amazon expedition takes you deep into the Cuyabeno Wildlife Reserve, one of Ecuador’s most biodiverse regions, for a true immersion into rainforest life. Traveling by canoe through narrow rivers and flooded forests, you’ll explore remote lagoons, spot wildlife like monkeys, pink river dolphins, caimans, and colorful birds, and experience the jungle at its most alive—from sunrise mist to nighttime sounds.

Staying in a locally run eco-lodge and guided by expert Amazon naturalist guides, each day blends soft trekking, canoe paddling, wildlife observation, and cultural encounters with Indigenous communities. With small groups, low-impact activities, and a strong focus on conservation and community support, this experience offers an authentic, well-organized way to connect with the Amazon beyond the surface.
