About this experience

Enjoy a unique perspective of the Blyde River Canyon. At 11h00, step aboard a flat-bottomed boat for an unforgettable boat cruise led by a qualified site guide. Discover the rare Kadishi Tufa Waterfall & enjoy sightings of hippos, crocs, primates, and a dazzling variety of birdlife. The Blyde Dam is the largest “green canyon” thanks to its vibrant foliage. After the cruise, enjoy lunch (own account) before heading to the top of the Panorama Route. Here, take in sweeping views of the Three Rondavels and gaze 800m down into the dam below — a truly awe-inspiring sight. The afternoon continues with stops at the majestic Lisbon Falls and the breathtaking Wonderview, offering endless panoramic vistas over the Lowveld towards Kruger Park and Mozambique. NB: Timings could change due to boat availability.

Stop 1

We will be going on an approx 1h30 min, cruise on the Blyde Dam.
During the cruise, you will see the amazing growing Tufa falls. Various waterbirds and if you are lucky, some hippos, crocodiles and other wildlife.

The largest green canyon and third largest in the world. You will also have a chance to view this canyon from the top and see the interesting formations, called the Three Rondawels.

The Lisbon Falls are situated in the heart of the waterfall area of Mpumalanga, where the number of these dramatic falls exceeds that of anywhere else in southern Africa. Lisbon Falls is 94 metres, or 308 feet, high, which makes it one of the highest in the province.
