The Temple of Poseidon rises proudly at the edge of a towering cliff, its white marble columns glowing against the deep blue of the Aegean Sea. Winds carry the scent of salt and cedar through the ancient ruins, where the rhythm of the waves below seems to echo the footsteps of long-gone worshippers. Bathed in sunlight by day and wrapped in gold at sunset, the temple stands as a quiet, majestic sentinel guiding sailors home for more than two millennia.
Legrena Beach in Athens: Getting its name from the namesake nearby village, Legrena Beach is a seashore within close distance from Sounio and the Temple of Poseidon! It boasts fine, golden sand across its length, crystal-clear waters, and rocky seabed, making it a great snorkeling destination, though it is also important to keep in mind that some strong winds may cause large waves! Plus, spot a few big rocks on the side of this sandy shore!
The beachside right next to the Temple of Poseidon. This is where the meeting point is and where you will have your meal too.
