Stop 2

Meet your guide at our meeting point. It is just 2 minutes away from the Taj Mahal. You can also use the restroom. Start the tour by visiting Taj Mahal, the exquisite mausoleum built by Emperor Shah Jahan in 1630 for his favorite wife, and learn its tragic story as you explore.

Stop 3

Next, your guide will take you to Agra Fort. Built in 1565 A.D. by the Mughal Emperor Akbar, Agra Fort is a magnificent example of Mughal architecture.

Take a break and savor the flavors of city's delicious local cuisine. Your guide will recommend the restaurants where you can enjoy an authentic dining experience.

Lastly, but not least, visit the Itmad-Ud-Daulah Tomb. This was the first Mughal structure built completely from marble, the first to make extensive use of pietra dura, and the first tomb to be built on the banks of the Yamuna, which until then had been a sequence of beautiful pleasure gardens.
