Tropical - Uganda's climate is generally tropical, with warm temperatures throughout the year. The country experiences a rainy season from March to May and a shorter rainy season from October to November, with a dry season in between.

These months offer the best weather for wildlife viewing and gorilla trekking. The skies are clear, and the trails are more accessible.

Shoulder Season

September to November and March to May

Shoulder seasons can be wetter but offer fewer tourists and lower prices. Wildlife viewing is still good, but some areas may be more challenging to access.
