The trail winds through terraced slopes, past abandoned farmhouses, and across Mediterranean scrubland. Along the way, you may encounter shepherds with their mules, as well as glimpses of wildlife like kestrels, peregrine falcons, and lizards. In spring, the path is adorned with vibrant orchids, heather, and myrtle.

The routes winds lightly downhill from Agerola to Nocelle offering a magnificent view of the Amalfi Coast and the island of Capri.
This route is considered one of the most beautiful hiking trails in the world, and extends along several Amalfi towns.
